ABOVE, DOWN, INSIDE, OUT

In chiropractic we have a saying that is ABOVE, DOWN, INSIDE, OUT.  When we were at church this weekend our pastor said something about inside out that really got me thinking.  I will explain more about what he was speaking of on the other side of the article but for now, I want to explain what this means for your physical body.

So much of what is done today in healthcare is all geared to provide relief from the outside in.  It would be similar to having a plant that has dry and wilting leaves and trying to address the leaves.  Painting the leaves, moisturizing the leaves, etc.  Health doesn’t come from the outside, it comes from the INSIDE.

Pretty incredible that most all the healing power you need is ALREADY inside of YOU!  We say ABOVE, DOWN, INSIDE, OUT because that healing power is stored in your brain, it moves down the spinal cord, and then out the nerves to every cell, organ and tissue of the body.  (For those of you who are believers, ABOVE is actually WAY higher than your brain but we acknowledge that all that healing potential comes from GOD.)

This is what makes chiropractic so special. Anytime your spine is distorted or misaligned it interferes with that healing potential making it from your brain to your body resulting in (dis)ease and dysfunction!

When we make a chiropractic adjustment our goal isn’t to provide temporary pain relief but rather allow the Power that made the body to heal the body from ABOVE, DOWN, INSIDE, OUT!

This is true chiropractic.
