Cruise ship or nursing home?
Did you know that currently in the United States it is cheaper to live on a cruise ship full time than it is to live in a nursing home? For real. The average daily cost of to live in a nursing home is actually more than that the cost to live on a state of the art cruise ship full time.
Let’s compare & contrast.
A cruise ship has 24 hour food service, gourmet meals, room service, house keeping, pools, hot tubs, fitness center, nightly shows, exotic locals, and shopping.
A nursing home is generally less than gourmet foods, less than Broadway style entertainment, no so luxurious amenities, and all around pretty unglamorous.
When given the choice between living on a cruise ship or living in a nursing home, ANYONE would obviously choose the cruise ship. A life of luxury vs. a life of misery.
The thing you have to understand is that you can’t life the “cruise ship” lifestyle if you are spending all your time in doctor’s offices and all your money on prescriptions. Your HEALTH is the great differentiator and without it your options become severely limited.
The point is youcan’t waituntil 65 years old to decide the type of lifestyle you will choose. You have to decide NOW! The choices you make today pave the future you will receive.
Stay adjusted. Eat well. Exercise. Think positive.
Love Jesus. Take your supplements. Laugh!
It is a pleasure to help you along the journey and I look forward to your future!
